Internet Air questions

How fast is it?

AT&T doesn’t publish speed tiers for Internet Air for Business; speeds vary by location and aren’t guaranteed. Premium includes 250 GB of priority data per month and up to 25% faster uploads than Standard. We tell you what to expect at your address before you order, and there’s a 30-day risk-free period.

Is it good enough to run my business on?

For most small offices, shops and job sites, yes: point-of-sale, cloud apps, email and video calls. It isn’t intended for servers, hosting, or continuous high-bitrate streaming, and performance depends on signal at your address. Where fiber is available, fiber is the better primary connection.

How does setup work?

The gateway ships to you; you plug it in near a window and connect. No installation appointment. Professional setup is available if you prefer.

Can I use it as a backup?

Yes. Many businesses run it as failover behind fiber or cable so card readers and phones stay up during an outage. AT&T also offers Managed Internet Backup for that purpose.

Is there a contract?

No annual contract, and a 30-day risk-free period on service fees. The AT&T Business Guarantee credits Internet Air downtime of 60 minutes or more.
